Information About Summit Ambulatory Surgical Centers
Our ambulatory surgical centers remain open for urgent and essential procedures – both for procedures that are scheduled and those that are emergent. Our physicians are reviewing each case to determine which patient’s procedure(s) are urgent or essential.
- For patients with a scheduled procedure that is determined to be urgent or essential: Our staff will call you to confirm the details for your procedure.
- For patients with a scheduled procedure that is determined to be non-urgent or non-essential: Our staff will call you to reschedule your procedure.
- For patients who have a condition that would require a procedure going forward: Your procedure will be scheduled as needed.
Our goal is to provide safe outpatient surgical care for our patients. We follow recommended federal, state and local guidelines for outpatient surgery centers, and our surgical centers are Medicare approved and certified by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), which identifies our surgical centers with the AAAHC symbol of excellence.
